Leonardo DiCaprio was born in Los Angeles, California November 11, 1974. Leonardo DiCaprio is an American artist film producer philanthropist. He has shown his versatility throughout his career. Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the versatile actors of the recent century; has got five Academy Awards nominations and ten for Golden Globe Awards. He has won two Golden Globe Awards first one for best actor in a Film The Aviator (2004) and the second one for best actor in a movie The Wolf of Wall Street (2013).

Leonardo DiCaprio’s career started from a TV series Growing Pains (1985) as a supporting actor. He also appeared in several commercials, his debut movie was a horror film Critters 3 (1991) and got the attention for his acting in This Boy’s Life (1993). In the same year What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) released, Leonardo DiCaprio gained more appreciation from his performance. Early life

Leonardo DiCaprio was the only child to Irmelin and George DiCaprio. His mother was a legal secretary, and she was born in Germany, and his father is a comedian artist, producer, and comic books distributor. DiCaprio’s first name Leonardo was taken from Leonardo da Vinci because his mother was pregnant when she visited a museum in Italy. To support him, his mother did many jobs. Leonardo DiCaprio’s first appearance film was Critters 3; he acted as a stepson of a wicked landowner. After that, he appeared in a comedy play Growing Pains; he played as a homeless boy.
