Lopez, also a beautiful c  and versatile actress had a breakthrough in her acting career in 1997 when she had a chance to play the the role of Selena. Its story was based on Selena Quintillana Perez- A Tejano Pop Singer who was killed by a crazy fan in 1995. The musical career of Jennifer Lopez got a boost when she released her album with the theme of Latin Pop on June 6, 1999. Her hit single “If You Had My Love”  played a major role in giving success to the album which went platinum with in the time span of 2 weeks while with the most influential example “Ricky Martin” of the growing culture of Latin influence in pop music industry.

In early months of 2000, Lopez was award “Best Dance Performance” in her 2nd hit “Waiting for Tonight”. Personal Life of J.Lo

After four relationships with Ojani Noa-a model and actor whom she briefly married in 1997, a rapper Sean “Puffy” Combs, Cris Judd-a dancer who appeared in the video for her hit single “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and an actor Ben Affleck, Lopez married a singer Marc Anthony in June 2004 at a private ceremony at her Los Angeles mansion. Returning to the big stage, Lopez has found time to join forces with her husband in 2006. She acted alongside him in the film “El Cantante”. In the film, Anthony played Hector Lavoe, the internationally acclaimed salsa singer. True to life, Lopez played Puchi-Lavoe’s wife. Lopez gave birth to twins February 22, 2008. The baby boy and girl were the first children for Lopez and the fourth and fifth for her husband, salsa star Marc Anthony. In July 2011, Lopez and Marc Anthony announced their plans to separate. In an interview with “Vanity Fair”, Lopez did not reveal the cause of the breakup but said, “I loved myself enough to walk away.”

With a new hit song out, the superstar refused to be deterred.

In 2012, Lopez announced that she would be leaving American Idol. “I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do, that I put on hold because I love Idol so much”

She told this in the morning radio show when she actually announced that she would be soon leaving American Idol. However, she could not live long without it and came back to the show. Lopez returned to the show for its thirteenth season in 2014.

She continued to work on her own production of music along with the American Idol. While releasing the album A.K.A. in June 2014.Lopez was also working with Pitbull and Claudia Leitte on an official song “We Are One (Ole Ola)” for the FIFA World Cup 2014. Around this time, news also broke about her personal life. It became public that she had split from dancer and choreographer Casper Smart after two and a half years together. The rumors were also spread about the cancellation of her showing up in the official song is due to her recent breakup three days before the opening ceremony of FIFA world cup Brazil 2014 but after her press conference, these rumors flew away and a surprise was awaiting for J.Lo fans in the opening ceremony of FIFA World Cup 2014.
