After Cooking:

Leave it to rest on the cutting board for 5 minutes before cutting in and rub with some extra virgin olive oil or butter for making it juicier steak.

  • Four 1 1/4-to-1 1/2-inch-thick boneless rib-eye
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper


Remove the steaks from the freezer, about 20 minutes before grilling. Let sit and covered it, at room temperature. Heat your grill to high.

Whisk the steaks on both sides with olive oil and season liberally with salt and pepper. Put the steaks on the grill and cook 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown and lightly charred. Convert the steaks over and continue to cook 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare, 5 to 7 minutes for medium and 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well.

Put the steaks on a cutting board or plate, tent loosely with foil and let rest 5 minutes before cutting.
