History of Grilled Delmonico Steaks
Delmonico’s Restaurant has introduced a cut of beef that originated in the 1800s at New York City’s called Delmonico steak. But today, the term Delmonico steak is a little bit different than that cut of meat because it is using to cook with a variety of different cuts of meat, it depends on the butcher. Ingredients of Grilled Delmonico Steaks
- One tablespoon pepper
- Two tablespoons salt
- 1/2 medium onion, in chopped form
- 1/4 cup crushed garlic
- One tablespoon crushed dried rosemary
- Six tablespoons soy sauce
- Three tablespoons steak seasoning
- Three tablespoons steak sauce
- Ten ounces Delmonico (ribeye) steaks
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup olive oil

Bring the meat to room temperature:
All type of steaks cook better only if the meat brings to room temperature, so if Delmonico steaks are in freezer then take your Delmonico steaks out of your refrigerator about 40-50 minutes.
Delmonico steaks are already incredibly flavorful, so it’s a good time to season your steaks, and you do not need to marinate them. Just simple salt and pepper rub on Delmonico steaks are enough to draw correctly out the meat’s natural flavors.

Sear the steaks:
Now combine the olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, rosemary, Worcestershire sauce steak seasoning, and steak sauce in the blender or a food processor and process until well blended.
Pour saturate over steaks:
After mixing prick steaks on both sides with a fork and place in a dark container with a cover. Pour soak over steaks, cover and refrigerate at least 2 or 3 hours.

Cook the steaks through all the way:
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat or charcoal and wait until coals are completely white. If you desire waterlogged wood chips can be added to the coals when ready for a smoky flavor.
Remove the steaks from the grill:
Remove steaks from soak and discard the soak. Smoothly oil the grilling surface and place steaks on the grill. Cover it and grill steaks for about 10 to 15 minutes on each side.
