Birthstones are playing different roles in human life and cultural throughout the history. Some people tell a story and have believed their special powers, but all stones share a natural beauty. Each birthstone has a particular color, history or story and place. They are available in every color of the rainbow and are the produce of the whole world. In which all stones some are discovered since from the history began and others were discovered recently.

Conventionally, every birthstone is related to each month of the year. Such as, garnet stone for the month of January, as lucky people who born in April their birthstone is a diamond.

The origin of birthstones is believed to date back to the breastplate of Aaron, which contained 12 gemstones representing the 12 tribes of Israel. The current list of gemstones is same as list dates back to 1912 only one other stone is added – tanzanite added in December.
