The view of the sunset from this beach is too excellent. I have found the most romantic beach in Langkawi. The water of this beach is superficial and great for swinging. It is the great beach for families and children. Tangung Rhu Beach is public beach open still 24 hours and no entry fee. The gate at the entrance and full security provides on this beach, no worries just come and enjoy the elegant environment.

One of the marvelous sights that cannot be seen anywhere else in Malaysia, which promotes a sense of peacefulness and tranquility while embracing the beauty of a beach sanctuary, is where the black sand is. It is located about 20km from the town of Kauh. A black sand beach in Langkawi is absolute calm and quiet.

Many stories explain why this beach is called the black sand beach. Some prevalent allegorical legend says that a Garuda has kidnapped, a beautiful Chinese princess with a romantic intention. Then her beloved
ruling Roman prince fights with the Garuda to protect the princess. The war was continued to the Langkawi Island and today is believed to be the remnants of the war.

The uniqueness of the black and attracts visitors who want to see the black sand. Visitors can also get a souvenir of black sand that is sold in small bottles. There are also food stalls, children’s yard, and souvenir shops to attract more visitors to this place.
