Soup is food that is in the form of liquid and served hot and sometimes cold. Different types of ingredients like meat, vegetables, rice are use to boil in the stock or water. We can divide soups into two groups like hot soup and cold soup. Egg, rice, grain, flour are the other ingredients that are used commonly in soups.

Potato Soup

Bacon and Potato Soup in Pot

Ingredients

2 Yukon potatoes chopped

5.5-ounce gratin instant potato mix

10.5-ounce chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cup water

Method

  • Take a pot and add potato, gratin potato mix, chicken broth and water.
  • Cook on medium heat until boil.
  • Cook at least for 40 minutes on low flame or until potato tender. Stir the soup continuously.
  • Add cream and mix properly.
  • Your potato soup is ready enjoying it.

Potato Cheese Soup

Ingredients

6 potato peeled and cubes

4 cup milk

1 carrot chopped

3 stalk salary chopped

1 onion chopped

½ cup margarine

1 tablespoon of corn starch

8-ounce process cheese, cubes

2 tablespoon of chicken soup

Method

  • Take a pot and add potatoes and carrots, cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until potatoes tender.
  • Take another pot and add margarine, make it hot.
  • Add onion and celery, cook for sometimes until softened.
  • Drain all water from potato and carrots.
  • Add 4 cup milk in potato and cook on low flame.
  • Add salt and paper according to taste.
  • Then add onion mixture and chicken soup base, stir continuously.
  • Add cheese and cook until cheese melts properly.
  • Now take a pot and mix cornstarch with ½ cup of milk and add to the soup.
  • Stir properly until the soup thick.
  • Your soup is ready to taste.

Potato and Broccoli Soup

Potato and Broccli Soup

Ingredients

2 tablespoon of margarine

2 cup onion chopped

5 cup water

4 cubes chicken bouillon

2 ½ pound potato peeled and chopped

4 cup fresh broccoli

Salt and paper

3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Creamy Potato and Broccli Soup

  • Take a pot adds margarine and make it hot.
  • Add onion and fry for some minutes.
  • Then add potato, water, and bouillon cubes.
  • Cover the pot, when the water boil, slow down heat and cook for 15 minutes or until potato tender.
  • Remove the outer skin of broccoli and cook, drain then adds to the soup.
  • Now blend half of soup and mix properly.
  • Add salt and paper according to taste.
  • Add cheese and cook for some seconds on low flame or until cheese melt properly.
  • Your potato and broccoli soup are ready, enjoy it.
