Baked chai-spiced French toast


For French Toast

4 eggs

1 ½ cup whole milk

1/3 cup granulated sugar

½ teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 1/2 tablespoon of chai mixture

1 tablespoon of unsalted butter

For topping

¼ cup brown sugar

¼ cup flour

½ teaspoon of chai mixture

3 tablespoon of unsalted butter

Pinch of salt

For the chai spiced mixture

1 teaspoon of cardamom

1 ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon of ground ginger

1 teaspoon of allspice

1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves

Ingredients for French Toast

For the chai spiced mixture

Take a bowl and add cardamom, cinnamon ginger, allspice and cloves, mix well and put aside.

For French Toast

  • Preheat your oven at the temperature of 350 F.
  • Take a bowl, add eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, and chai spice mixture.
  • Beat the mixture properly.
  • Now take a baking try and apply butter or oil.
  • Put the bread slices on the tray and then pour the mixture on all sides of bread.
  • Cover the tray with plastic paper and put into the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Now take another bowl and add all topping ingredients and mix properly.
  • Now pour the topping over the bread
  • Bake your toast for 45 minutes or until topping turn golden brown.

For the French toast

5 oz. cream cheese

1 loaf of challah bread

½ cup ricotta

4 peaches Cut into slices

6 eggs

1 tablespoon of sugar

½ cup unsalted butter

1/3 cup sugar

French Toast in try


  • Take a bowl and add cream cheese, sugar and ricotta, mix all the ingredients properly.
  • Now cut bread into slices and put them on baking try like a layer.
  • Now apply the cream mixture as a layer.
  • Then make a layer of peach slices.
  • Again put bread and make a layer as all the gap will be filling with bread.
  • Again put peaches on the bread as all the bread will cover.
  • Again make a layer of bread slices as all gaps will be filling.
  • Again pour the cream cheese mixture on the bread and a layer.
  • Now take a bowl add eggs, melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup and salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients until combined well.
  • Pour the mixture over the bread and then cover with plastic wrap.
  • Put in the refrigerator for an hour or a whole night.
  • Take another bowl and all topping ingredient with melted butter.
  • Combine all the ingredients with the help of your finger.
  • And now when you want to make your peach French toast, add the topping on the toast and bake for 30 minutes or until topping turn until golden brown.
