- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, honey, or sweetener, to taste
- ½ cup boiling water
- juice and zest of two lemons
- 8 ounces cold water
- lemon slices, if desired

Boiled water in a saucepan, add a green tea bag to the hot water. Remove from the heat and let too steep for about 3 minutes to let sugar to melt.
