Fresh drinks and cool water is essential for a human body. Fresh and healthy drinks can easily control the aggression and stress of a human mind. In summers, everybody desires to have an extreme water intake to avoid dehydration and weakness caused by excessive heat in the day time. They go for either the juices available in markets or home made. If you ask me which one, I prefer the homemade juices as they are better, healthy and fresh. It helps you to save your money and gives you an optimistic output in form of good health. Nowadays, the average temperature in summers is increasing with every passing year. It is difficult for a human to stand even for a while in burning sun. The best way to avoid the negative output of the summers is the intake of fresh and healthy juices.

Now, what I want to share is the different recipe of juices that are good in summers. You can enjoy these drinks in parties, with friends and family, when in the office or at any place you want to or you are.

1. Ginger Honey Lemonade

Ingredients

Water (3 cup)
Honey (half cup)
Ginger (quarter cup)
Sugar (half cup)
Lemon juice (quarter  cup)
Mint leave (7)
Ice cubes (as required)

Method

Boil 1 cup of water with honey, sugar, slice ginger and mint leave in it for 5 minutes. Strain it properly and make it cool. Now, add lemon juice and ice cubes. A very fresh and healthy drink is ready for you.

2. Watermelon Juice

Water Melon Juice

Ingredients

Watermelon(1)
Lemon juice (2 spoons)
Salt (as required)
Ice cubes (as required)

Method

Add watermelon in the blender and blend it properly. Strain it if you like or you can leave it like this. Add salt, lemon juice and ice cubes in it. Fresh watermelon juice is ready for you.

Watermelon juice is good for the stomach.

3. Simple Lemon Water

Ingredients

Lemon (1)
Water (1 glass)
Sugar (1 spoon)
Salt (as required)
Ice cubes (as required)

Method

Add sugar, lemon juice and salt in one glass of water. Mix it well and add ice cubes as required. An easy and quick juice is ready to drink.

4. Lassi

Lassi

Ingredients

Yogurt (half Kg)
Water (as required)
Sugar / Salt (as required)

Method

Add sugar or salt and water in half kg yogurt. Blend it well and add ice cubes as required. You can also enrich it with different ingredients to enhance its flavor like cardamom powder, almond etc.

Lassi is very famous in Pakistan and good in summers as well. It keeps you body cool and fresh.

5. Chocolate Shake

Chocolate shake

Ingredients

Milk (1 cup)
Cocoa powder (2 spoons)
Sugar (2 spoons)
Ice cubes (as required)

Method
Blend cocoa powder, sugar with milk and add ice cubes as required. Chocolate shake is ready to drink. Enjoy!!!

6. Almond Juice

Almond juice

Ingredients

Almonds (as required)
Sugar (2 spoons)
Milk (1 cup)
Ice cubes (as required)

Method

Blend almonds and sugar with milk in a blender. Add ice cubes and serve.

7. Grewia Juice

Ingredients

Grewia (1 kg)
Sugar (1 cup)
Salt (as required)
Ice cubes (as required)

Method

First blend Grewia with water and strain it. Repeat this process twice (2) or thrice (3). Now add sugar, salt, and ice cubes in it as required. Enjoy this sweet and sour drink. Enjoy!

8. Apple and Pomegranate Juice

Pomegranate Juice

Ingredients

Apple (2)
Pomegranate (2)
Salt (as required)
Ice cubes (as required)

Method

Cut the apple and pomegranate and remove their waste. Now place apple in a juicer and extract its juice. Then do the same process with pomegranate. Now add some salt and ice cubes as required. Ready to drink!
